Many of my closest friendships have started because of health and fitness. There is a certain bond that is built when you sweat together. I believe it's due to time spent working toward common goals, bonding while jokingly whining, pushing each other to be better and basically getting some memorable girlfriend moments. That’s why I’ve been working to host fun, uplifting, social fitness events in the FM area. It’s my goal to create events that combine movement and socializing for an experience that has positive life aftereffects long after the soreness is gone.

Mind + Body Book Club

  Increase flexibility and strength as well as self-awareness and self-compassion while building relationships and creating space for important conversations.

Join us to explore and combine movement of the body with conversation of powerful books! We will meet for 30-minutes of gentle movement and stretching, in which we'll connect with breath, allow our minds to quiet, and move in ways that are accessible, relaxing, and energizing to all levels. Followed by another 30-minutes to share and discuss our selected book.

  

We’ll be reading books about faith, fitness, food and becoming a more perfectly imperfect person. Inspiring you on your journey towards health in all aspects! 

4-week series to start the first Monday of the month at 6pm:

Meal Prep Party

Sunday, October 27th @ 1pm

 What is a meal prep party? It’s a fancy way of saying hang with friends, cook food, improve life.. Meal prepping with friends is better than meal prepping alone and once you get all the prep work out of the way, MAKING DINNER IS SO EASY. Seriously you guys, there aren’t even words.


IF:

  • You are a mother who cares very deeply about your children. BUT struggle to plan, shop and prepare meals on a nightly basis.
  • Even with a drawer full of recipes, you end up making the same 5 over and over again.
  • You have been known to say things like “who wants to order pizza.” When in fact, you have lots of food in the pantry, but for some reason just aren’t feeling up to cooking.
  • More than once you have purchased less than nutritionally ideal things from the grocery store, because CONVENIENT.
  • Finding the time, energy and motivation to put together healthy dinners is overwhelming, soooo fast food.


THEN:

Grab a girlfriend and set aside a few hours to catch up on what's new and prepare some meals for those days when things just get away from you.


WHAT WE'LL MAKE:

2 overnight oats for breakfast

3 smoothie freezer packs

Women's MINI Wellness Camp

Oct 06, 2019 Sun @ 1:00 PM-5:00 PM (4 hours) Held @ Fercho YMCA, 400 1st Ave S Fargo

Enjoy connection with other women on a Sunday afternoon over a catered light lunch and health discussion. Get Creative with Essential Oils!  Take home your own handmade bath salts, bath bombs or lotions.  Top off the afternoon with gentle movement led by Personal Trainer, Becca Murphy.  We supply everything, all you need to do is bring yourself and a friend!  Pre-registration is required and a maximum of 12 spots are available. This MINI Camp will give you a taste to our Women's Wellness Camp we host at Camp Cormorant August 21-23, 2020.
